Abira Siddiqui
Abira Siddiqui is a Behaviour Support Practitioner and qualified Social Worker with over five years of experience supporting individuals and families through the NDIS. She has specialised training in trauma-informed practice, somatic therapies, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Abira works closely with clients to complete functional assessments, develop meaningful Behaviour Support Plans, and provide one-on-one therapeutic and social work support.
Abira is passionate about supporting people with complex needs, including those living with psychosocial disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, cognitive disabilities, and traits of pathological demand avoidance. Her approach is client-focused, strengths-based and holistic, always considering the personal, cultural and systemic factors that shape each person’s experience.
As the Director of Lilac Services, Abira created the organisation with a clear vision — to provide a safe and inclusive space where people from all backgrounds feel seen, supported and advocated for. She understands that navigating the NDIS can be challenging, and is committed to helping individuals and families feel empowered, informed, and genuinely cared for every step of the way.

Sheila
Sheila is a caring and experienced Senior Speech Pathologist and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, supporting individuals and families across Sydney and Hobart to communicate, connect, and thrive.
With more than 25 years of experience in the disability sector, Sheila brings deep understanding and compassion to her work. She has a strong interest in the relationship between communication, social connection, and emotional regulation, and how these influence everyday behaviour and wellbeing.
Her approach is person-centred and collaborative, meaning she takes the time to truly get to know each person — their story, their goals, and what matters most to them. She partners closely with families, educators, and support teams to build practical strategies that create consistency, confidence, and positive change across all areas of life.
Sheila is skilled in behaviour assessment, positive behaviour support planning, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), capacity building, and team training.
What clients appreciate most about Sheila is her genuine warmth and ability to connect. She believes in empowering each person to discover their strengths, express themselves with confidence, and live a life filled with meaning and connection.

Fiona Davis
Dr Fiona J. Davis is an accomplished clinical and disability practitioner with over 35 years of experience. As Principal Director at Disability Counsel, Fiona brings a rare blend of professional expertise and lived experience, having raised her child—now a thriving young adult with disability—within an evolving landscape of support, advocacy, and inclusion.
Fiona’s transdisciplinary background uniquely positions her at the intersection of clinical practice and disability advocacy. Her extensive qualifications and hands-on experience provide her with deep insight into the complex, multifaceted needs of individuals with disability, particularly in navigating both health and systemic frameworks.
A respected leader in her field, Fiona is widely recognised for her compassionate approach, strategic advocacy, and commitment to person-centred outcomes. She is known for her ability to translate complex clinical and policy knowledge into practical, empowering support for individuals and families. Fiona has presented at both national and international conferences and is well published in the area of Positive Behaviour Support. Her work continues to focus on promoting inclusive practices, advancing disability rights, and ensuring that the voices of people with disability are central in shaping the services and systems that affect their lives.
Fiona predominantly works with Complex disability / dual diagnosis; chronic mental health; dementia and as a Developmental Educator for major life transitions/stages. Fiona also provides clinical and PBS Practice supervision, specialises in Physical Interventions training, as well as other training and consulting services.

Christina Creech
Christina Creech is an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. Her practice is grounded in positive behaviour support, trauma-informed care, and relational practice, with a strong belief that meaningful change begins with trust and collaboration between individuals, families, and support teams.
Christina specialises in supporting people with complex disabilities, rare genetic disorders and behavioural phenotypes (including Angelman Syndrome and Prader–Willi Syndrome), as well as neurological conditions such as Huntington’s disease. She integrates Behavioural and Cognitive Interventions, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Psychoeducation, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles within a humanistic and strengths-based framework.
Christina works closely with families, allied health professionals, and support teams to develop practical, evidence-informed strategies that enhance communication, emotional regulation, and quality of life, creating environments where people feel safe, understood, and connected.

Carolyn Fitzgibbon
Carolyn Fitzgibbon is a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Lilac Services who is passionate about helping people understand themselves and thrive in their everyday lives. After many years working in Mental Health Occupational Therapy, Carolyn became a Behaviour Support Practitioner in 2024.
With a special interest in sensory processing and sensory modulation, Carolyn focuses on how our sensory experiences shape the way we feel, act, and connect with others. She has co-authored a book on sensory modulation and enjoys supporting people to find practical strategies that work.
Carolyn is especially interested in exploring the sensory reasons that may contribute to behaviours of concern. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centred and always aiming to build understanding, reduce stress, and improve quality of life for the people she supports.
